Very exciting for this newly open restaurant in Pondok Indah Mall 3, it's called PAVELA. Serving an authentic Peruvian cuisine. Have you had any Peruvian dish before? If no, you better try this. Well we had good experiences when we ate in PAVELA. We never had any Peruvian's before so it feels so great to have chance to try this.
Let's get to the main course, Pollo A La Brasa (95k). The signature dish of PAVELA, cilantro butter rice that was served with vegetables and slow roasted Peruvian spiced chicken. The chicken was the star of the dish because of its special and aromatic taste! When it goes to slow-roasted process, usually it will get you a tender texture of meat and juicy inside. Rich and perfectly seasoned. The chicken skin still juicy and flavorful! To make it more Peruvian they also put some Yuca Fritas or cassava wedges and perfectly fit with the aji verde sauce, nice!

Second dish, Nikkei Chicken (85k). Fried fillet chicken with special Nikkei sauce and served with cilantro rice. The chicken was so tender inside and you can dip in to the tartar sauce to make it more tasteful.

We tried the Banana Popsicles (40k) as our desserts and this one was quite good. Sweet banana coated with dark chocolate and sprinkled with roasted peanut, it also served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

The signature mocktails from Pavela is also quite awesome, this is Pisco Sour (45k) a Peruvian national drink that has an incredible refreshing taste. Using lime juice, egg white, brown sugar and cinnamon. Sweet and sour! So fresh!

The location was in the Ground Floor of Street Gallery, unfortunately the place is quite small so if you are coming in group maybe you can feel too crowded. Despite of its place, they served wonderful Peruvian dish!
