Brewing Coffee with Nature
Just past a week ago, we had a short trip to Bandung. We were desperated to have a little of joyment in the middle of our busyness. When we had this, we planned to get another culinary experience in Bandung.
Luckily, there is a new hype coffee shop in the middle of jungle. But, it isn't literally in the jungle, located at Taman Hutan Raya Ir. H. Juanda, a tourist attraction in Central Bandung where's Armor Kopi brew their coffee.
Armor Kopi is stand for Arabika Multi Origin Kopi. They only use Indonesian coffee beans and they are not brewing any espresso nor latte. Only a pure manual brew coffee while you enjoy the nature scenery. That's cool isn't it?
A manual brew coffee for other peoples has bitter taste, but if the barista processed correctly it will be less bitter taste. You can enjoy the origin of the beans taste and it's quite enjoyable for me. It has fruity, a little bit sour and also a coffee taste. Full of flavour for a cup of coffee.
When you enter their wooden house you can see bunch of transparant bags full of coffee beans, start your order with choosing the type of the beans. If you get confused just ask the barista what taste do you prefer or if you want to get more experience just smell their coffee beans.
While they are using manual process, you can choose a well known type of manual brew techniques, and this coffee shop provide you with:
- V60
- French Press
- Mockapot
They have plenty type of Arabica and Robusta beans from Indonesia but I can't remember each name of the coffee beans type. I am pretty sure it all has good taste.
With every different coffee process, it will result different taste too. We suggest you to ask the barista what beans and method to get your desire coffee.
Leaving a crowded place and get into this area just like the best feeling because you can get the nature atmosphere. Don't forget to come along with your couples, friends or family.
At last, a peaceful and cozy place is a good choice while we having our short trip, no regrets. Cheers!
