Hot Chocolate? Kakolait!

I'm an avid of sweets or dessert things! This is one of a good news if you are just like me. Nowadays, the coffee industry in Indonesia is start to grow rapidly. Every month there will be a new coffee shop coming out in Jakarta or even in Tangerang.
So glad that finally someone is trying to bring chocolate industry into this hype of coffee industry, and that was Kakolait. Heaven place for any chocolate lovers at Gading Serpong! Especially for someone who always love to have a warm cup of chocolate in the rainy day.
Located in complex of Ruko Golden where the same location as Turning Point, Daily Press Coffee and Cotive. If you are familliar with those names it has to be easy, right?
They start to introduce their cafe as a Chocolate Specialty Cafe. Trying to educate people more about chocolate and its industry through their product and quality which was the main ingredients is from Indonesia. The fact is Indonesian chocolate was already known for the quality and already exported to other countries, so that's sounds good right?

Loving how the cafe vibes in its simple yet eye-catchy design, it makes us feels like at home. The chocolate colour gave a touch of warm and homey atmosphere, using natural lighting with lots of window. For now, they only use the first floor for operational and soon the second floor will be ready for customers. I heard those second floor will be more like in lesehan-style which students or other customers could do their work comfortably.
They served 2 types of chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Dark Chocolate. Firstly, I tried their Signature Hot Chocolate, American Marshmallow (40k) using their Milk Chocolate flavor and it was topped with marshmallow. Loved it! It just taste different (in a good way) from others, smooth texture and rich in flavors! Usually typical of chocolate that I often found clotted (bergumpal), but it's not on my cup. When getting colder, it turns into thick texture and giving more tastier than before, and I personally loved it.

Btw, this chocolate cup is really cute! I do love the cup shape, even sometimes it made me a little bit hard to sip mine with this cup.
The second menu I tried is Kakolait Waffle Set (65k). Two piece of waffles with three toppings on it. Marshmallow, banana strawberry and vanilla ice cream as my toppings. I've been told that they are using a Belgian Waffle and it was quite enjoyable when its hot, but make sure to eat it while its warm! When you order this menu you can choose to pour the waffle on top of it with dark chocolate or milk chocolate.

Third dish was Kakolava (40k)! Soft texture with warm chocolate lava inside. Thick yet tasty and rich of chocolate flavor. I am suggesting you to have these for accompanying your Hot Chocolate.

Despite of their specialty in chocolate, they also serving healthy drinks like the one I got, Red Granita (Dragon Fruit & Lychee) [25k], Yellow Granita (Passion Fruit & Mango) [25k] and Green Granita (Lemon & Mint) [25k]. All of it was fresh but for my personal taste, a bit too sweet.
